Tarpon AKA Silver Kings grow to be over 200 pounds and draw hundreds of thousands of people to the Florida Keys every year for good reason. Tarpon get big, jump a ton and they fight like hell!

Every year between March and July adult tarpon swim down the east and west coast of Florida to spawn offshore of the Florida Keys. Targeting big tarpon is best during those late spring early summer months.

Juvenile tarpon on the other hand can be caught year round. Juvenile tarpon are more acrobatic and often times more eager to bite than adult tarpon. They make for a great target for the novice angler or the seasoned fisherman looking for hot action.
